Fees & budgets
Keep demo fees, studio test credits, and paid image allowances separate.

Three balances, three meanings
These balances cannot be transferred between one another. A demo trade does not fund an image. Adding test credits does not purchase provider credit.
| Balance | Source | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Demo USDC / operating budget | Browser-local simulation | Practice trades and template jobs. |
| Studio test credits | Add test credits action | Saved brief previews; no payment. |
| Image allowance | Operator-funded pilot spending limit | Real image submission attempts, backed by separate provider credit. |
The illustrative trading fee
The demo uses 1% of gross trade value. A $1,000 buy deducts $1,000 from the practice wallet: $990 buys demo tokens and $10 is allocated as below. These are product assumptions, not fees charged by an external trading venue.
| Allocation | Share of the fee | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Creative operations | 50% | $5.00 |
| Creator | 20% | $2.00 |
| Platform | 20% | $2.00 |
| Modelled buyback allocation | 10% | $1.00 |
Custom demo allocations
The demo launch form allows 30–70% of collected fees for operations. Platform and modelled buyback shares stay at 20% and 10%; the creator receives the remainder. That split stays fixed for the demo coin.
On sells, the fee comes out of gross proceeds. Real fee collection would apply only to supported markets with enforceable fee rights. Trades elsewhere would not automatically fund Aftermark.
Saved preview accounting
A brief preview reserves 12 credits. Delivery uses 8 and releases 4; cancelling a queued job releases the reservation. Available means spendable now, reserved means held for work, and used means settled delivery cost.
Daily job budgets include the committed work for the UTC day. A job must fit both the available balance and the daily limit. An unresolved delivery can retain its reservation until its outcome is reconciled.

The paid image allowance
The pilot has a $5 total app allowance, $0.02 counted per attempt, a 25-attempt UTC daily limit, and a limit of two active or unresolved requests. The total is shared across the pilot’s projects. Failed or uncertain attempts still count.
This conservative allowance is a usage control, not the provider invoice. The provider account owns the prepaid credit and actual bill. No public pricing plan, subscription checkout, or automatic customer top-up is offered here.
Devnet launch costs
The launcher charges no platform fee. Your wallet pays devnet account rent and the network transaction fee shown before signing. The amount is calculated for the transaction; it is not a fixed quote. Test SOL has no mainnet value.
